Writer/Performer uses third-party AI and text-to-speech providers to synthesize audio from your scripts. This policy describes what content is prohibited and how your data is handled when you use these features.
Prohibited Content
The following categories of content are not permitted on the platform, whether submitted as script text, character descriptions, or any other input:
Context matters. Dramatic writing can include morally complex characters, difficult subject matter, and dark themes — that’s the nature of the craft. What is prohibited is using Writer/Performer to endorse, facilitate, or provide actionable assistance for the categories listed above.
If you believe a content flag is overbroad for a legitimate creative context, contact us at [email protected] with the relevant details and we will review it.
Copyright and Script Content
You are solely responsible for ensuring that scripts and other content you submit do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, including rights in underlying dramatic works. Submitting a script for synthesis does not transfer any rights in that script to Writer/Performer.
Privacy and Data Handling
When you use synthesis features, your script text and character descriptions are transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate audio. These transmissions are governed by each provider’s terms of service and privacy policy.
Writer/Performer does not claim ownership of your scripts or generated audio. We do not sell your content or use it to train AI models. Limited operational access to your content may occur to run, secure, debug, and support the platform, or to comply with legal obligations.
For full details on how we collect, store, and process your data, see our Privacy Policy.
